Effective Date: January 1, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at masonrysimivalley.com (the "Site") and your engagement of services provided by SV Simi Valley Masonry ("we," "us," or "our"), a masonry contractor based in Simi Valley, CA. By accessing the Site or requesting our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or engage our services.
By using this Site or contacting us to request a quote or schedule work, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or the property owner. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who interact with the Site or our services.
SV Simi Valley Masonry provides masonry contracting services, including but not limited to foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick and stone installation, retaining walls, driveway pavers, walkways, outdoor kitchens, and related masonry work.
Services are performed in Simi Valley and surrounding communities in Ventura County and the northwest San Fernando Valley. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion, including projects outside our service area or outside the scope of our expertise.
All written estimates provided by SV Simi Valley Masonry are based on conditions observed at the time of the on-site assessment. An estimate is not a guaranteed final price. The final cost may change if site conditions, material availability, or the scope of work changes after the estimate is issued.
Any change to the agreed scope of work will be discussed with you before additional work is performed, and a written change order will be issued where practical. Verbal agreements to expand or change the scope do not alter the binding estimate terms unless confirmed in writing.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. After that period, material and labor costs may have changed and a new assessment may be required.
Once a start date is agreed upon and a deposit is paid, that date is held for your project. If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in forfeiture of any scheduling deposit paid.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, supply delays, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find the earliest available replacement date at no additional charge.
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, you are responsible for the cost of all labor performed and materials ordered or installed up to the cancellation date.
Payment terms are outlined in the written estimate or contract for each project. Typically, a deposit is required to schedule the work, and the remaining balance is due upon completion. We accept payment by cash, check, or other methods stated in the estimate.
Final payment is due on the day the work is completed and you have had the opportunity to inspect the finished job. If a punch-list item is identified at final walkthrough, payment is still due for all completed work, and the remaining item will be scheduled and resolved promptly.
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late payment fee as described in your individual contract. We reserve the right to pursue collection through lawful means for unpaid balances.
You agree to provide SV Simi Valley Masonry with accurate information about the property and the condition of any existing structures relevant to the work. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or HOA approvals unless we have agreed in writing to handle that on your behalf.
You are responsible for clearing the work area of personal property, vehicles, and obstructions prior to the crew arriving, as specified in the pre-work checklist we provide. Delays caused by the property not being ready on the scheduled start date may result in rescheduling fees.
SV Simi Valley Masonry stands behind its workmanship. Any warranty terms applicable to a specific project will be stated in the written estimate or contract for that project. Where a written warranty is not provided, workmanship defects reported within 1 year of project completion will be evaluated and remedied at no charge, provided the defect is attributable to our work and not to subsequent damage, alteration, or normal wear.
Material warranties are governed by the manufacturers of the products used. We do not extend or supersede manufacturer warranty terms.
The content on this Site is provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranty that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SV Simi Valley Masonry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
We prefer to resolve any disputes directly and informally. If you have a concern about work we performed or a billing issue, please contact us first at contact@masonrysimivalley.com so we have the opportunity to address it.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to pursue resolution through binding arbitration in Simi Valley, California, in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration service, before initiating any court proceedings. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief where appropriate.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings arising from these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate courts located in California.
