Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services of SV Simi Valley Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of our masonry services.
Services Provided
SV Simi Valley Masonry provides professional masonry services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney services, tuckpointing, retaining walls, stone patios, walkways, driveways, stone veneer installation, outdoor kitchens, foundation repair, and commercial masonry work. All services are subject to availability and our capacity to perform the work safely and professionally.
Estimates and Pricing
We provide free written estimates for our services. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection. If conditions change or additional work is discovered during the project, we will notify you immediately and provide a revised estimate before proceeding with any additional work.
Final pricing may vary from the estimate if unforeseen circumstances arise, but we will always obtain your approval before performing work that exceeds the estimated cost. Payment terms will be specified in your written estimate or contract.
Project Timeline
We strive to complete all projects within the estimated timeline provided. However, project timelines may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, permit delays, or unforeseen site conditions. We will keep you informed of any delays and work diligently to minimize disruptions to your schedule.
Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your property and project requirements
- Ensure access to the work area during scheduled work hours
- Remove or protect personal belongings in the work area
- Inform us of any known hazards or concerns on your property
- Make timely payments according to the agreed payment schedule
- Obtain any necessary permissions if you are not the property owner
Permits and Compliance
When required, we will obtain necessary building permits for your project and ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations. Permit fees, when applicable, will be included in your estimate. You are responsible for informing us of any homeowner association requirements or restrictions that may apply to your property.
Warranty
We stand behind our work and offer a warranty on our workmanship. The specific warranty terms will be provided in your contract and vary depending on the type of service performed. Our warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, improper maintenance, modifications by others, or normal wear and tear. Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate and will be explained during your project planning.
Liability and Insurance
SV Simi Valley Masonry is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We maintain comprehensive liability insurance and workers compensation coverage for all our employees. While we take every precaution to protect your property during work, we are not responsible for damage to underground utilities that are not properly marked by utility companies or damage resulting from pre-existing conditions not disclosed during the initial inspection.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a scheduled project by providing written notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, you may be responsible for costs already incurred, including materials ordered specifically for your project. If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will provide as much notice as possible and work with you to find an alternative date.
Dispute Resolution
If any dispute arises regarding our services, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can work toward a resolution. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns. If we cannot resolve a dispute through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
Changes to Work
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented in writing and signed by both parties. Change orders may affect the project timeline and cost. We will not proceed with changes until we receive your written approval and any required additional payment.
Safety
We maintain strict safety standards on all job sites. During work hours, we ask that you keep children and pets away from the work area for their safety. Our team follows OSHA guidelines and local safety regulations at all times.
